The Oregon legislature is set to honor the late Dennis Richardson who served as Oregon’s Secretary of State and State Representative and was a veteran.

Richardson served as a helicopter pilot in the United States Army during the Vietnam War; and was awarded the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry for his heroism in combat.  Oregon veterans remember him working tirelessly on our behalf — even when he was getting ill.  He will be remembered with House Concurrent Resolution 9.
